It was on the 8th of March that ÓpticaPro gathered 21 businessmen from the area that elected the winners of the ÓpticaPro Awards 2024. There were two optics selected for each category, for a total of 20 awards.

And the 2024 winners are:

Innovation: Optivisão (Gaia/Maia Shopping) and André Ópticas (Lisbon)

Transformation Digital: Opticalia Portugal e Óptica David (São João da Madeira)

Management: Centro Óptico de Angola (Angola) e Centro Óptico Ibérico (Barcelos)

Decoration: Óptica da Boavista (Porto) e Olhar de Prata (Lisbon)

Service: Óptica da Sé (Funchal) e Optocentro (Lisbon)

Expansion: Optic One e Wells Óptica

Social Responsibility: Óptica Parente (Lamego) e Brancoptica (Cartaxo)

Sustainability: Optocentro (Lisbon) e Franco Oculista (Braga)

Longevity: Adão Oculista (Porto) e Oculista das Avenidas (Lisbon)

Carrier Awards: Alberto Caires (Alberto Oculista, Madeira) e Francisco Bolas (Óptica Havaneza, Évora)

This year we had a strong jury, composed of a representative part of the optic sector’s business network. 21 businessmen gathered today in the Pernambuco Porto Brasil Institute, during a work lunch, to elect the big winners of 2024, namely:

António Melo – Modavisão; Elísio Marques – DMDI/Morel; Fernando Casinha – Indo; Helena Ornelas – WSAudiology; Henrique Silva – Optiestojo; Luís Duarte – Visionix; Luís Feijó – Shamir; Luís Justino – Prooptica (who for reasons of greater force could not attend today but, instead, sent an employee, Hernâni Almeida, as a representative); Marco Pombo – Consultor; Mário Pereira – Optovision; Mario Torre – Consultor; Paulo Figueiredo – Liquilentes; Paulo Jorge Sousa – Orgreen; Pedro Louro – SPJ; Ricardo Cadete – Hoya; Rui Amaral – Bausch+Lomb; Rui Dias – Cecop; Sérgio Agrelos – F3M; Sérgio Ramos – Lusíadas/Iodel; Sofia Borges – AJBorges; e Tiago Sobreiro – EssilorLuxottica.

The handing of the awards to the distinguished optics will take place during the OPÓTICA summit, on the 11th of May
