Polo has been honored by the Cruz Branca Volunteer Fire Brigade in Vila Real with the award of a commemorative medal, presented as part of the celebrations marking the brigade’s 129th anniversary.
The tribute recognized the relationship of mutual support and camaraderie built over time between the optical products company and the firefighters, as well as Polo’s ongoing assistance to the institution and its commitment to the service it provides to the community.
The company was represented by Natália Simões, Polo’s executive board member and chief financial officer, who accepted the medal on behalf of the organization, in what was described as a symbolic moment of great institutional significance.
For Polo, distinctions such as this one reinforce its commitment to social responsibility, its closeness to the communities where it operates, and its support for those who are on the front lines every day protecting and ensuring public safety.
