We travelled to the coast to visit Riaóptica and carry out this cover story. We were captivated by Janete Ferreira, the face behind this family project with almost 20 years of history. With a degree in Applied Physics – Optics Branch, from the University of Minho, she inherited her father’s passion for optics and her mother’s dream of building her own business. Her love of the sea led her to settle in Costa Nova, Aveiro, the perfect place to live her dream: starting a family and serving the community.
