Vítor Martins, the managing partner of Maxivisão, has been nominated for the International Optician of the Year Award by the International Opticians Association (IOA), in partnership with Silmo Paris, for the second year running.
The ‘International Optician of the Year’ award has been given out since 2018 and ‘honors opticians working in the optical sector who make a difference’. The nomination is based on a commitment to eight pillars: professionalism, exceptional communication, entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, specialization, creativity, engagement with the community, and tireless defense of the quality of the profession.
This year, Vítor Martins joins three other finalists: Phernell Walker, from the United States, Daniel Scott, and Hitash Visavadia, from England. The winner will be announced at the Silmo d’Or gala in Paris.
