In 1976, Francesco Conti transformed his own bedroom into a department store-office. Half a century later, the company born from that intuition – Centro Style Spa , based in Vedano Olona, in northern Italy – is celebrating its anniversary with a major investment in the future: the doubling of its logistics center, equipped with AGV robots and state-of-the-art automated systems.
The date of the celebration was not chosen by chance. The company opted to celebrate its 50th anniversary precisely at its recently expanded Operations Innovation Center, the technological heart of an operation that today serves more than 16,000 points of sale between Italy and abroad, is present in 80 countries (in Portugal, through AJ Borges ) and involves around 200 employees. A celebration shared with Italian and international clients, with all employees and with some of the most relevant authorities in the optical sector.
