It was on July 30th that Prooptica officially announced the release of the Amália Eyewear collection. By 6PM, the doors of Casa de Amália were opened, for “a special and meaningful event with fantastic energy”. Given the atypical time we are living in, the event had a very limited number of participants, but was broadcasted live for all those interested in attending.

From home, ÓpticaPro heard Amália through the voice of Wanda Stuart, ambassadress of the Amália Eyewear brand, in a beautiful and felt homage, which lasted roughly two hours. Just as all present guests, “we remembered the independent and generous woman, who was attentive to fashion trends, to the tune of Fado songs that inspired the Eyewear Amália collection.

Wanda Stuart sang the Fados that name the concepts behind the brand flagship products – Lágrima, Gaivota, Canção do Mar, and Lisboa Antiga – and sang, as well, the Fados that will feature in the next collection, already underway: Barro Divino, Prece, and É ou Não É”.
