This initiative is one of F3M’s most recent bets in the field of certified training and strengthens the organization’s positioning in a rapidly growing area: the company now offers online training for Mozambique, a country where it already has a consolidated presence. This expansion of training offerings comes at a time when the technology sector is experiencing increasing demand in Portugal: approximately 70% compared to the same period in 2023. In just the first six months of the year, there were over 2,000 participants in training programs. Interpersonal and emotional skills, as well as legal issues, are the most requested topics.

“Compared to the same period last year, there was a significant growth of 70.79% in the number of trainees. Participants come from all regions of the country: North, Central, South, and even the islands. The online format has allowed us to expand our operations, now also to Mozambique, increasing the reach of our training,” reveals Filipe Cruz, training manager and pedagogical coordinator of the company.

“The desire to acquire new skills, update knowledge, or specialize in emerging areas” are the main factors driving demand, but according to the manager, there are other reasons, such as “the need to adapt to new professional and technological demands,” “career advancement,” or “reorienting one’s professional path.” “Additionally, there is a growing demand for personalized training, tailored to the specific needs of each client,” explains Filipe Cruz.

Personal development has been one of the areas with the greatest interest “due to the increasing valuation of interpersonal and emotional skills in the workplace and in personal life. Effective communication, time management are highlighted themes,” adds the training manager. On the other hand, “interest in legal issues has grown due to the increasing complexity of laws and regulations,” he indicates. “Among the most sought-after topics are, for example, data protection, labor law, tax issues, and guidance on legal compliance,” the manager clarifies.

Accounting and taxation, management and administration, IT from the user’s perspective, nursing, support services for children and youth, social work and guidance, sports, personal development, and training for early childhood educators are the areas where F3M has invested with a highly diversified offering of programs, both online and in-person. “Online is the preferred model for training between companies, while in-person is mainly chosen by clients seeking personalized training,” concludes Filipe Cruz.
