Over the last 30 years, Prooptica has grown, reinvented, and distinguished itself. Today it presents itself as a consolidated company, well-established in the Iberian optical market, that aims to “work alongside customers and provide them with products and services that allow them to grow and reach their potential”. We spoke with Luís Justino, the face of the project that won the PME Líder Award in 2022 and approaches the future “with the same effort and involvement”, promising to continue evolving and overcoming challenges.

Prooptica celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year, how do you assess the last 30 years?
After 30 years, Prooptica is a consolidated and sustainable company that is well-established in the Iberian optical market. It is a flexible company that can quickly adapt to the constant changes and challenges of the market. Our aim is, and always will be, to work alongside our customers and provide them with products and services that allow them to grow and reach their potential. To achieve this, we have an exceptionally talented, hardworking, and focussed team that is dedicated to the sustainability of the project, working alongside our customers every day – Prooptica is built on strong interpersonal relationships. Terms such as ‘effort’, ‘proximity’ and ‘involvement’ form part of our key values and define our stance in the industry and with those who accompany us – the relationship is much more important than the transaction. We are always striving to learn and innovate, meaning that today, Prooptica operates in four areas of business that complement eachother, thus allowing us to promote and integrate with our customers as “Full Eyewear Concept”. After 30 years, we are happy, motivated and driven.
