The Convent of Beato was the setting for a great feast on 9thFebruary for Institutoptico to celebrate its 30 years of existence.
To do so, the company brought together its large family, which the company itself defines by all those who have been in some way part of and accompanied these three decades of Institutoptico. This included opticians and their families, ambassadors of the group, partners and suppliers, among lots of others.
“It was an unforgettable party that will remain forever in our memories. This was our way of thanking all the guests present, whom we like to call family. It only lacked our customers to make it perfect,” says Vera Velosa, manager and person responsible for the area of Partners and Human Resources of Institutoptico. “Joy, surprises and tributes were the key words of this anniversary,” she continued.
Several well-known faces made a point of being present at this commemoration. Ricardo and Francisca Pereira, current ambassadors of Institutoptico, were, as usual, a friendly and very proactive presence in the dynamics of the entire event. Ricardo was the service host. Francisca Pereira, as well as Alexandra Lencastre and Ricardo Carriço – former ambassadors – played the role of honouring some of the company’s personalities with the award ceremony: First Optometrist Women in the Group; Longest Management and First Chairman of the General Meeting.
Luís Góis, head of the financial department and manager of Institutoptico made a point of praising the unifying force of the Group: “Together we have everything to be much bigger than the simple arithmetic sum of each one of us – together we are the Institutoptico, working to always be better and more capable of responding and bettering the needs of each of our optics”.
Several artists brightened this party: Shout had several performances, and in their own way sang the congratulations to the Institutoptico and brought guests, Nuno Guerreiro and Mafalda Arnauth. In the end, it was announced that the Calema had joined the family of the Institutoptico. and they delighted everyone with their sweet and genuine voices.
Paulo Arromba, head of the Marketing and manager of Institutoptico, had the task of announcing, first hand, the new ambassadors who become part of the Institutoptico family. “Over the course of 30 years, Institutoptico has always had ambassadors who have helped this brand to grow and have more and more success. Giving continuity to this bet, Calema are the new ambassadors of the exclusive brand INVU of Institutoptico. They are young and full of talent. They are siblings representing the family”.
