Over a quarter of a century, the company has kept pace with the evolution of the optical sector, expanded its teams, diversified its portfolio, and built strong, trusted relationships with hundreds of optical businesses across the country.
Against this backdrop of sustained growth and increasing business complexity, the move to new premises marks a strategic milestone and the beginning of a new chapter for Lusíadas. In an interview with ÓpticaPro, Managing Director Sérgio Ramos explains what has changed and outlines the company’s priorities for the coming years.
When asked what motivated the move, Sérgio Ramos is clear: growth was the driving force. The company experienced a significant increase in stock levels and a broad diversification of products — including furniture and multimedia solutions for optical stores — which required more space, improved organization, and greater workflow efficiency. The new facilities were designed to meet these needs, offering greater storage capacity, faster internal processes, and more comfortable working conditions for all teams.
