Luís Moreia is an industrial engineer and eyewear designer. Born into a family of opticians and passionate about fashion and music from an early age, he decided to venture into the preservation of Portuguese craftsmanship and created Winner Against Winner (WxW), a handmade eyewear brand, a year ago.
Luís says that the brand was born out of “the desire to combine traditional craftsmanship with innovation in eyewear design. After learning and working in various companies in the sector, I realised that there was an opportunity to create a brand that combined quality, authenticity and modern design. I decided to found WxW about a year ago, with the aim of offering glasses that stand out for their excellence and authenticity, while preserving the value of Portuguese craftsmanship.”
The brand’s aim is to ‘create products that not only fulfil customers’ needs, but also become part of their identity and personal style’.
