Looking to consolidate the historic Milanese brand in Portugal, the founder of Epos, Luca Lavezzari, was recently in Portugal to promote its range of vintage products, such as the T-Look range, acquired two years ago. Without having a physical space yet, the brand is investing in consolidating its image with the Portuguese public.
What is the main objective of your first visit to Portugal?
Epos is a brand created in 2003, with customers in Portugal for over 20 years. We wanted to make direct contact with them and show them our main innovations.
What are your plans and prospects for our country?
Consolidating our client portfolio, thanking them for their trust in our work, and forging new partnerships. The brand arrives, grows, and then there’s always a lot to do. In this way, there is universal work to be done and discovering new ways of implementing it in the market.
What were you looking for with the acquisition of T-Look?
Epos is always focused on the vintage market and on broadening its range. T-Look is a brand from 1979, from Milan, with a great heritage. What we lacked were more retro women’s glasses. We either expanded our collections or bought an existing brand dedicated to this range of products. T-look is an explosion of colors, very different from what already existed at Epos. It was a market opportunity, a new brand. T-Look is also more aimed at young people, it gives us more versatility, with a broad, modern line that identifies with the company’s culture.
