Established in 1973 by siblings Angelina Cotovio and Manolo Dominguez, Ofetal Ópticas currently has four stores in the Oeiras municipality. The founders are still present on a daily basis at the stores, but after having served three generations of costumers in the village in the outskirts of Lisbon, their children are the faces of their legacy. ÓpticaPro tried to unveil the secrets for the company’s success through siblings Ana and André Dominguez and cousin Raquel Cotovio’s vision.
ÓpticaPro: Being open in the Oeiras municipality for over 40 years, what’s the secret for your success?
Ana Dominguez: Since 1974, Ofetal Ópticas has been a family business that operates in the optics, optometry, contactology, ophthalmology and pediatric ophthalmology. Our secret is to establish a close relationship of trust and ethics with our costumers, always acting transparently and integrally, taking responsibility and respecting our costumers’ satisfaction.
André Dominguez: The team spirit has also been a part of our recipe for success over the years – working as a whole has been our goal every day.
Raquel Cotovio: The quality of our products and services makes the service of excellence, which we like to provide, to stand as a key principle for success.
