For the third consecutive year, the vision centre Ópticas Conselheiros da Visão joined forces with Pata D’Açúcar association, and hostess and veterinary doctor Andressa Pedry. Together they will raise awareness to the importance of regular eye exams.
Ópticas Conselheiros da Visão chose to partner with the association for this solidarity campaign focused on one of the major causes of blindness in the world: diabetic retinopathy.
The action is supported through donations and the sales of gifts to the customers of the vision centre. This allows Pata D’açúcar to rescue several abandoned dogs every year, and train them on the early detection of low blood sugar on their owners. Indeed, a lifesaving action.
