On February 3rd, the 1st Dr. Ergo Science of Vision congress was held in Viseu, an event that brought together the team of optometrists and orthoptists from the Dr. Ergo Clinic and other professionals who were invited to attend. In a room full of people, the participants were able to expand their knowledge to better respond to the challenges they face in day-to-day clinical practice.
The various speakers addressed the importance of the regulation of optometry in Portugal, orthopaedics, control of the development of myopia in young people, the effect of systemic therapy on eye structures, nutritional supplements and their application to eye health, visual therapy and the use of prisms, disparity in the fixation and presentation of Eyegenius and neurological and ophthalmic diseases with impairment in the visual field.
