The UMinho School of Sciences opened new laboratory facilities in the area of optometry and vision sciences this week, “one of the most modern structures of laboratory teaching in this area at national and European level”. The project – an investment of around €270,000 – is the result of a partnership that the school maintains with Essilor, which financed the project by around 80%.
