On the last cover of the year we highlight Nuno Diogo, the mentor of the “phenomenon” Fábrica de Óculos. 20 years ago, what was the dream of this entrepreneur who has been in the optical sector since 1995 began: working for himself and following his own path. Fábrica de Óculos was born in 2003, in Cacém, a business model that is based on three factors: “know-how; innovation; and, most importantly, the people who are part of this project.”
AASO – Association to Support Optical Sustainability has also followed, since its creation a year ago, a journey that stands out for its difference. In collaboration with CADIn – Neurodevelopment and Inclusion and GRACE – Sustainable Companies, it recently promoted the conference “Employment Without Distinctions”, an event that represents “the sharing and communication aspect in promoting sustainability values, specifically on the topic of inclusion at work”.
Also noteworthy is the 1st Optivisão Optometry Days, a training meeting that aimed to “strengthen the competence of the group’s optometry teams”. An event that had exclusive coverage from ÓpticaPro.
