“We’re here to fight for leadership”

“Opticalia entered the market to win, we are not working to take second place” was what António Alves told us when we spoke with him for the first time, in 2013. At that time, and with only 12 months of being part of the Portuguese Market, Opticalia already held 7% of the market share.

“Today, with 10 years working in our country, the group achieved a share above 10% and ‘good brand notoriety’”. However, as António Alves made it clear to ÓpticaPro, the goal is to continue expanding and “fight for leadership”.
