As part of the Cooperation Protocol, signed with the Cultural Centre of Brejão in October 2021, Prooptica held yet another visual diagnosis screening that includes the offer of lenses and frames to the residents of Odemira that are at socio-economic risk.

According to Prooptica, this initiative had the “warm support” of the project, giving special thanks to Rui Teixeira, the professional that carries out “the screening consultations and makes all the necessary technical equipment available”.

For the CEO of Prooptica, Luis Justino, this initiative completes the aim of Prooptica to “help create a vibrant and demanding society that builds the country we aspire to be”.

Prooptica’s initiative is the result of “a social responsibility policy that we have been developing for several years in various institutions that support young people at risk and, more recently, this support has extended to the senior population”.
