With a focus on the Social Responsibility of the Ópticas Conselheiros da Visão program, the group held the 6th Solidarity Gala in the Black and Silver Room of Casino Estoril, an event enhanced by the show “O Reviralho”, with a performance by actress Rita Ribeiro, ambassador of the company. A magical night, to be remembered.
An important cause in which Conselheiros da Visão have established an important support is in the campaign ” Previna a cegueira causada pela diabetes… Olhe por si” (Prevent blindness caused by diabetes… Look after yourself), either through visual screenings, or in the awareness of the population for the prevention of Diabetic Retinopathy.
At the Solidarity Gala held at the end of April, a highlight was the presentation of the results of this initiative, which includes the rescue of abandoned dogs later trained in the Pata d’Açúcar association to prevent diabetes, one of the main causes of blindness in the world. The night was marked by the performances of the Group of Young Talents of CCR Alto do Moinho, the Portuguese-Chinese singer Cao Bei and the dancers of Macau, as well as a fashion show dedicated to the new collections of Ocean sunglasses and Fitness frames, exclusive to the Vision Councillors for the spring / summer season.
