“Opticenter is a fast-growing, successful brand, with a competent team and a well-established business concept”.

You recently starred in “the biggest deal in the optical sector in Portugal” with the acquisition of Opticenter. What led you to take such a decision?

Alberto Oculista has been developing its shops network over the last 10 years, a period in which it took its first steps, and flew the nest, the island of Madeira. One decade and 70 shops later, the opportunity arose for us to enter into negotiations for the integration of the Opticenter network into the Alberto Oculista Group and we believed we could succeed in this negotiation.  The same state of mind that led us to spread beyond Madeira, led us to aim to carve out this last step, quite challenging for us.
