Clara Celestino is the new Country Human Resources Manager for Essilor Portugal. With a professional career in different industries, the new manager has more than 20 years of experience in people management in large companies.
The new Head of Human Resources for Essilor Portugal, a leading company in optical and visual health solutions worldwide, is the ex-HR Lead for Microsoft Portugal. Having taken on several responsibilities for the Portuguese subsidiary as well as the Western European region, here she had the opportunity to consolidate her professional experience as HR Manager.
Clara Celestino has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management and Work Psychology from the Higher Institute of Languages and Administration and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from INDEG-IUL ISCTE. She is also qualified in Coaching and joined ICF Portugal. Moreover, she is a guest lecturer at the European University.
Between 1995 and 2001 she worked at GE where she kicked off her career, first in Finances and later on in Human Resources. In 2001 she joined L’Oréal Portugal as Human Resources Manager and Head of Learning & Development.
Clara Celestino succeeds Patrícia Calvário who joined the Group’s management on a European level at the beginning of the year.
