The management team of Cione – Optics Group presented to the press the main lines of its Strategic Plan (EP) for the period 2019-2022. Its entry into force generated “a wave of unprecedented enthusiasm and positive energy in the cooperative”.
After this year of change, the present has become a great starting point for where Cione wants to go in the near future. According to a statement sent to newsrooms, “The company is currently the leading distributor of the optical sector in Spain, with 9% market share – double in some regions of the country – and with the strongest offer in terms of products and services to offer to the independent optician, ”said Miguel Ángel García, Cione’s new CEO.
In fact, in the first four months of 2019, sales in Cione Pptics increased well above the market average, particularly in each of its facets: frames, ophthalmic lenses, contactology and audiology.
