Keep reading to learn more about this project.

Is the training led by yourselves or is the idea to invite other mentors?

We believe that the best way of generating change is to lead by example, so the first two courses will be given by us. However this is a project by all and for all, so we have also invited experts in specific areas to involve the community and share their knowledge, allowing us all to learn and progress.

Do you see Valor Visão as a progressive measure in Portuguese visual health? In what way?

We believe it is, yes. Professionals are more valuable with greater levels of knowledge and competence, characteristics we seek to provide through our service; we have been recognised for our important role in the visual health of our society.

What message would you like to give to all eye-care professionals?

As healthcare professionals, it is our job to keep up with the constant evolution of the industry and improve our practices every day. Our main motivation should be, trainingvand learning in synergy with eachother. We are more valuable to our profession when we are united.
