MonOpticien is a subsidiary of the group MiOptico which has recently arrived to Portugal. A modern brand, focused on customer satisfaction and the good management of its points of sale that has been on this country’s territory for a few months and has already started its impact on the market.

We decided to talk to the conquerors: the optician and optometrist Florent Carrière, together with the marketeer and co-creator Stephane Saurue.

ÓpticaPro: It is true that MonOpticien was inaugurated in Portugal last July. How is it going so far?

Stephane Saurue: The implementation of MonOpticien in Portugal is very recent, more specifically, three months ago, not counting the month of August. Our concept was very well received by the Portuguese because they can join our club and still maintain their independence. It is a philosophy that we consider to be important and distict. This is the real difference between a club and a central purchasing center. In this way, there are no commissions or a loyalty program, so we have been able to achieve a membership of 13 optical stores since July.
