During a long conversation with \u00d3pticaPro, the director of Optocentro revealed to us the news of the company, in addition to the solutions to obstacles caused by the pandemic associated with the new coronavirus. How have these pandemic times been for Optocentro?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We don\u2019t pass the margin, naturally. We suffer like everyone, it had a global impact, but I always had certainty from the beginning: I always kept the conviction that we would always be open, providing services in person or remotely. I was always sure that, still very traditional, linked to the confidence in the two areas in which we did well \u2013 commerce and health-, the entire recovery process would be more consistent than in other retail areas. The optics today, in general, is much better than the majority of other retails, due to being a necessity. Other companies with identical values managed to suffer less from this negative impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In your opinion, what will change with the end of the pandemic?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We will never go back to working as before. There is a variable here: we all realized that the interruption of the cycle of life can happen more easily than we imagined. See what happened. We are unaware of unemployment next year, economics is not an exact science and lack of work will be an important link in defining the economic evolution of 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What are your expectations?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n As strange as it seems, I am always imbued with certain optimism, although deep inside we are all afraid because the future is unknown. That\u2019s a collective mischief and we need collective solutions. The limit would be the rupture of the entire society and that definitely won\u2019t happen. The most important thing is trying to provide care to our customers; it is the time to continue seeing customers differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
