The project &#8211; an investment of around \u20ac270,000 &#8211; is the result of a partnership that the school maintains with Essilor, which financed the project by around 80%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> &#8220;At the moment, we have very good training conditions for our students, with more interactive and practical teaching dynamics, factors that become fundamental for this area&#8221;, revealed Jos\u00e9 Manuel M\u00e9ijome, director of the Physics Department of the School of Sciences of UMinho, to Correio do Minho. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gon\u00e7alo Barral, general director of Essilor Portugal, hopes that this laboratory will be a &#8220;milestone&#8221; to train better professionals and, consequently, serve people better. &#8220;In Portugal there are a million people who need visual improvement.
