Maxivis\u00e3o\u2019s \u201cHumanitarian Mission in Kenya, 2023\u201d took place on the 10<sup>th<\/sup> of March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>March 10<sup>th<\/sup> was a landmark day for Maxivis\u00e3o, with V\u00edtor Martins and Ana Carvalho in Nairobi, carrying out the &#8220;Humanitarian Mission in Kenya, 2023\u2033. The Portuguese Embassy, a partner of the company since 2019, boasts an &#8220;undeniable impact\u201d that the company has \u201cin each country that it visits&#8221; through this project, other Missions have taken place in Cape Verde, North Macedonia, Peru and S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 and Pr\u00edncipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to this Humanitarian Mission, Maxivis\u00e3o has taken part in numerous other projects, with the support of the Portuguese Embassy, including, giving 50 children ophthalmological consultations, in an initiative led by volunteer In\u00eas Gassin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following these consultations, the Portuguese Embassy in Nairobi \u201censured that the children affected by eye diseases received the necessary medication\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>V\u00edtor Martins and Ana Carvalho, from Maxivis\u00e3o Optics, donated 23 pairs of prescription glasses and 11 pairs of sunglasses to children and adults from Korogocho, Kibera, Isinya and Ongat\u2019a Rongai.
